Ludwig Van Beethoven: Leonore Overture No. 2 In C Major With The Orchestre de Paris Conducted By Daniel Harding
A flute-featuring fantasy
Despite years of personal and family trials, Beethoven battled through to become one of the foremost composers of all time. Two sets of two blasting orchestral stabs begin this piece, which soon dissolves into a delicate and quiet introduction. A flute emerges, which carries the melody for the most part until the orchestral culmination mid-way through the piece. Listen to appreciate the great man’s triumph.
