Second, Pastorale by Johann Heinrich Schmelzer is performed, followed by Ah! Che Troppo Ineguali HWV 230 Georg Friedrich Handel, which translates as Ah! The injustice! Dietrich Buxtehude’s O dulcis Jesu BuxWV 83 Dietrich Buxtehude is performed afterwards, after which we hear Concerto grosso in G Minor Op. 6 No. 8 by Arcangelo Corelli. Finally, Antonio Vivaldi’s work, Nulla in mundo pax sincera RV 630 closes the concert. Enjoy these works from across three eras of musical history.
