The internationally renowned Trio Dali have been performing for nearly twelve years. Formed out of friendship and a shared love for music, violinist Jack Liebeck, cellist Christian-Pierre La Marca and pianist Amandine Savary have wowed audiences with their interpretations of great trio works.
The concert begins with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Trio in E Flat Major Op. 2, a bright piece of convivial feel. Second, the trio plays Ernest Chausson’s Trio for piano, violin and cello in G minor Op. 3, A much more sombre and reflective work which summons nostalgic memories of past loves Finally, the trio entertain with an excerpt from Frank Bridge’s 9 miniatures, the Russian Waltz, another work which would accompany two lovers dancing together. Enter thought the glass doors of the Louvre pyramid and descend into a conclave of musical bliss.
