Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord, Paris

In three acts, the Concert de la Loge hosts for four singers and ten instruments to play their interpretation of Phaedra. The libretto by François-Benoît Hoffmann is inspired by Racine's play. The tragedy was first shown in October 1786 at the Château de Fontainebleau. Today, more than two centuries later, the play is reborn conducted by Julien Chauvin and featuring Judith Van Wanroij in the title role.
